memoirs of a geisha [pronounced as gay-sha. not gi-sha].

i think the movie was okay. i thought that it focused too much on the childhood and when it was focusing on the childhood, it didn't capture the important parts. i also thought that hatsumomo is a very revengeful bitch. good acting on gong li's part though. like hamizah says in her blog. the kimonos are all beautiful. beautiful brocades. hell, even i want a danna. but without the 'other' complications. just want his MONEY!!! ahhahaha. and hamizah. are you sure about ken watanabe?? hahaha. he's old lahhhhhhh.

i watched the movie only with su. only because the 3 of us were supposed to meet. but dearest dee had to cancel. when i messaged the 2 of them asking what to movie to watch. su said memoirs of a geisha. and in my mind i was already thinking, 'dee would not like this'. but luckily dee didn't come. so i got to watch it with suuuuuuuu. ape ah dee. but come to think of it. if dee came, what movie would we have watched?? dee already said she watched cheaper by the dozen. hmmm. and i'm not interested in local or chinese action movies. hmmmm.

another movie dilemma. for tomorrow. hamizah!! what to watch?!?!?!
