it's friday. weekend is here. and in my house it's going to get busy. during this period of time is when my whole family cleans up the house. i think. curtains have yet to be brought down. the house is need of constant vacuuming. let me list down my chores.

1. vacuuming
2. clean the fans
3. bring down curtains. put up new ones.
4. help my mother cut up paru for her sambal goreng pengantin

i think there's more.

i was walking down orchard road with su just now. and since this month is ramadhan, i'm used to seeing other people eat. what i'm not used to seeing is muslims eating. i was shocked that i saw 3 teens doing just that. i saw one girl licking on her ice cream. a guy drinking from a 7-11 gulp cup. and this other guy. he wasn't exactly eating or drinking. he was smoking!! and i was reading a good friend's blog yesterday. and she also experienced the same thing. but worst. i mean. what is wrong with these people?? don't they have the slightest respect for us who fast?? if i want to be brutally honest, i think they brought up wrong. i think that their parents didn't give religious classes. when i read my friend's entry, there was this part that irks me most. 'this isn't malaysia. so why be scared to eat in public?' so what if this isn't malaysia. if malaysia can have a rule against eating in public during ramadhan, why can't we implement the same rule here?? if these people are so damn hungry, why can't they eat at home? they can stuff their faces in whatever they want.

i am thought that every single muslim is my family. but i'm ashamed to be associated with people who don't understand the simple word, respect.

okay. so it's tuesday. and time flew by so quickly. i mean. just a few weeks ago i was in KL. and then it was my birthday. and now. this is my final week of hols. i can't wait for school to start. my timetable is so FREAKING relaxed. and my results. i finally got As. for my Ettiquette and Pro. Image and Design Project 2. miraculously [right spelling? not sure], i got a C on my hydraulics. i've always like hydraulics better than env. science. hell. i won't talk about my results.

last night was the last episode of ANTM. keenyah 'deserve' to be eliminated. not that i don't like her, i did. but i think she kind of got arrogant towards the end. i loved, absolutely loved, kahlen's cover girl final photo. but i don't like kahlen's lack of confidence. she's always 'i can't do this, i can't do that'. i like naima's mysterious personality and her mohawk. and i like the fact that she's a dancer. whatever. my fave ANTM winner is still yoanna.

went out for my birthday celebration just now. decided to break fast at pizza hut at PS. i didn't know that pizza hut don't take reservations. so we had to come earlier to get seats. but we had one hour to kill. we walked around spotlight. again. but they rearranged everything and everything is covered in plastic. so there were limited stuff that we can 'pose' with. hehe. this time we took more pics. instead of dee being the superhero, syam put a cape on me. ahaha. dee was an angel. su was a gardener. and syam was a transsexual with two big boobs. ahaha. all funny pics. will post the pictures soon. when dee sends them to me.

after spending an hour at spotlight posing, we headed for pizza hut. as usual, tasha was late. we got a secluded spot at pizza hut. it was at the back. we ordered the food we want. and waited for tasha. we made alot of noise while we were there. and the family sitting next to us kept looking at us. we finished eating by 7:30. and my dearest bestfriends presented their gift for me. thanx, dee, su. for the beautiful skirt. and syam, tasha, thanx for being there. dah lame tak jumpe korang.

then we took a bus to geylang. walked around. and thank god there wasn't that many people. we walked around looking for accessories. i still haven't found the right necklace. and i still haven't found the right bag. hamizah, i didn't get to look around at orchard for the clutch. maybe next week i'll go around orchard to look for it.

it'll be hard to forget you.
but i'll try my best to achieve it.

i'm frustrated. with ... ... haiz. alot of things. sophian!! i want my ruffera back!! aku nak dengar!!

i celebrated my long awaited 18th birthday by going to the national library. can you believe it?? haiz. too bad i don't have a special someone to celebrate it with. but i really want to thank friends who wished me a happy birthday at the strike of midnight. it means alot to me that you remembered. ahah. thanx again.

i'm meeting dee, su and syam this thursday for my celebration. at least it's on my fave day. the middle of the week. when you realise that the weekend is only one day away. okay enough about my birthday. it's over. and now on to newer things.

went to johor with family just now. yesterday's weather was perfect. cloudy. no sun. today it was blistering hot. the sun glared throughout the afternoon. in the car, even though the AC was on full blast, i was somehow sweating. and sleeping in that kind of heat was impossible. so i listened to my DM. didn't really go anywhere. didn't go to city square. my oreo cheesecake was calling out to me. and my tiramisu. haiz. maybe another time. maybe this thursday?? haha. anyhow. went to giant as usual. bought things for raye. malays call it barang dapur. and of course i bought my fave mac and cheese. it's best eaten when it's hot. when the cheese is still melting hot. ahaha. *drooling* and then went to angsana and bought this cheese biscuit. heehee. i LOVE cheese. so creamy. soooo YUM!! and i also bought my current addiction. bread!! ever since the KL trip, i've been shown a whole new light on bread. thank god i'm fasting. all the carbs i'm eating and i'm not shedding it off. so i must watch what i eat. and with raye coming. that's almost impossible to keep in check what you're putting into your body. all the kuihs and the special raye foods served during visits. haiz.

i can't wait until puase is finished. then i can get back to training. speaking of floorball, SAL!! APE KAU CKP AKU LARI DARI RUMAH?? HAHA. TAK SANGKE AKU. ahaha. some of you may have taken the quiz i created. one of the questions was that for my recent trip to KL was it for... the options were study trip, holiday, running away from home and one other. and my dear good friend here, sal, picked the option running away from home. ahaha. if i did run away from home, maybe i'll go to KL. imagine all the halal food you can eat. yoshinoya, sushi king, kenny rogers. haiz.

i was born on 17 of october in the year 1987. on a saturday morning at 0809. so according to the time now, i still have a few more hours at being a 17year old. and then after i can legally watch m18 movies, smoke, drink and have sex. but i would never do the middle two things. and it will be sometime before i will actually have sex. i mean. i want to get married first. hamizah, if only brad pitt would marry me. hehe. but hell, by the time i want to get married he'll in his mid-40s. eeee nvm.

so i want to sum up my 17th year on earth.

i started it off by having a non-existent relationship with someone. i was honestly sad that it couldn't have lasted longer. and i'm truly sorry that ignored him. i guess it just took us too long to get where we were. but looking at us now. we have both since moved on. speaking of moving on. i think i fell in like with amer. like at first sight. he had so big an impact on me that i still have feelings for this amer. and i know nuts about BGR. and then 2005 came. my bestfriends and i were not spending enough time with other. we rarely saw each other. but every time i saw them, they would ask me about him. and every time i would avoid. i finished my first year in poly. sometime during the start of my second year in poly, i started to like another guy. only a handful know who. complicated stuff. by june 05, i think my bestfriends and i have been spending more time. got to know alot more peeps through the fb camp. and saw more of EVSS peeps around in campus. and then august 05, someone i haven't seen a long time reentered my life. my friend, zaf. she visited singapore for 2 weeks. and sadly i only went out with her once. haiz. maybe i should go to london. haha. and nothing big has happen to me since. okay. let me rephrase that. nothing big has ever happen to me before.

i hope to let my guard down. i hope to voice out more on how i really feel.

dee. su. my bestest bestfriends. in the whole wide world. firstly, aku nak cakap. I LOVE YOU GIRLS VERY MUCH. korang bring the laughter out in me when i really need it. thanx. dee, i'm happy for you. kau should take this chance and go for it. and su will back me up on this. su, i'm happy if you're happy. and there are reasons why i won't talk to him. heeehee. raye nak dekat. and dee's bdae is coming real soon. su, kite takya belikan dee prezzie ah. since ngah raye ni, dapat duit raye banyak. haha. love you. thanx for being my bestfriends.

yesterday i break fast at my cousin's house, which happens to be at geylang. there wasn't alot of peeps last night. but the person i didn't want to see was there. hamizah gave him the nickname PC. it's initialed because i don't want to reveal the actual words. and he was reallllllllly P. i can't believe he asked my parents when they are getting a son in law. and i was like WHAT?!? the whole lot of women at the back had to endure the blistering heat during terawih. you would think that at night it'll be much cooler. but no. it WAS hot and humid. as soon as we finished terawih, hamizah and i put our tudungs back on. we headed out to geylang. hehe. but first we detoured to coffee bean and bought drinks to satisfy our cravings. but buying that pure vanilla has it's consequences.

going to the bazaar on a weekend night is a big mistake. indoors and outdoors. wherever you, you'll see peeps. and alot of them. had to suffer by breathing smoke. argh!! this smokers are all inconsiderate. f you..! but the place i front of perkampungan melayu is most humid. you can feel other peeps body heat. we walked through the geylang pasar part of the bazaar. no comment. other than the fact that i'm happy they're renovating the place. and finally, the part where i like best. the food part. smoke from barbeque 'pits'. ahhhhhhh!! heavenly. the smell of food. we saw the burger ramly of our choice. and we made a good decision. it was delish. headed back to my cousin's place.

to sum up. do NOT go on a weekend. you'll see an abundance of mats and minahs. and you'll get the first class treatment of passive smoking. but if you still want to endure all this, at least you'll lose a couple of litres of sweat. and that's great because you already fasted for the day and why not help lose more weight by sweating it off too...!

i've changed my skin. yet again. this is because some of my friends said my page could not be seen. if you happen to see my page last night, that was just a temporary one. this skin, however, will be around longer. perhaps. as you can see it's a skin of christina aguilera. my fave female singer. a powerful voice she has. she's someone i call the one with the voice. alicia keys is the music prodigy. heehee.

so this is the 8th day of puase. time has been passing so fast. and in a few more days, i'm getting a year older. and i don't want to be. [reminded me of gavin degraw's i don't want to be. love that song!]

got back from KL yesterday. wanted to update my blog yesterday. but no mood. hence, i'm updating it today. so let's start from day 1. and let me warn you. there is one part where it's going to get NASTY!!
DAY 1
met ain at simei station. didn't know that at even 6 in the morning that the train will be packed. reached school at around 7. waited for ham. mr teo said we were the first ones to use the new entrance to SP. yeah, whatever. the coach was late. went to tuas checkpoint. it was a breeze as it was a weekday. and there was 4 counters open. stopped at yong peng. the place is renovated. given a new look. but it was still ... ... reached KL at 1pm+. went to the city hall. the presentations they gave. seesh. it made me sleepy and i was trying hard not to fall asleep. but the place is royal looking. i mean the fabrics used on their chairs and walls were those with hues of gold in it. a two-toned fabric. it was pretty. checked into the hotel soon after. the hotel rooms were okay. i was kinda looking for a connected room. so the three of us could still be together. haha. we went to berjaya times square for our dinner. but ain and i decided to singgah the theme park. and it was so TEMPTING to go there the first night. but since there was only so little time left, we decided to watch a movie instead. we had dinner at kenny rogers. hehe. my craving is satisfied. watched the longest yard and i have a feeling that they cut a lot of scenes. but for RM9, i couldn't care less. we reached the hotel room quite late. we had a curfew at 11pm.

DAY 2
woke up early. hammie and ain were pissed at some yr1 boys cause they took their seats. haha. reached KLCC at around 10am. waited until 11am to take the lift to the skybridge. and it was a beautiful sight. took pictures and i will post it soon. walked around the shopping centre. and i bought a roxy wallet. hehe. i had a hard time picking the wallet i liked. there were so many. while at quicksilver, there was this cute guy who worked there. and being ain and ham, they decided to ogle at him. haha. after that we keep walking in front of quicksilver just to get a view of the guy. after that, we went somewhere. i forgot where. but i know we went to royal selangor factory. a pewter factory. they served us drinks in pewter cups. dee, for our future home, we should have pewter cups. it won't break and the cold water will stay cold longer. haha. got back to the city. by this time, ham was already dizzy. because of the long bus ride and the traffic jam. there was a debate whether we should have dinner or go to the theme park. in the end it was both. we had dinner at lot10. and we walked to berjaya for the theme park. we took the rollercoaster first. and i sat in front alone. and it EXHILIRATING!!!! fun. after that we decided to take the DNA mixer. i forgot how crazy the ride was until after the ride. poor ham got even dizzier afterwards. so she sat aside and looked on as ain and i took the dizzy izzy. after that, we decided to take the rollercoaster again. this time we took 2 times straight. muahaha. this is where it gets nasty. we sat on a bench while we look at the DNA mixer ride. only about 6 peeps were on it. among the few was this indian guy. halfway through the ride he was shaking his head. a few moments later he vomitted. while he was still on the ride. and the vomit was splashed on the front screen of the ride. and the ride kept going. the DNA mixer kept turning and turning. and the guy vomitted again. there were peeps watching the ride, right in front of it. and to think that they would move away. but they didn't. so they got some vomit splattered all over. the 3 of us walked away from the place asap. like i said, ham was already dizzy. so she vomitted too. this time on the floor. didn't make it on time to the dustbin she was aiming. ain was also nauseated by it. but luckily she didn't puke. we helped ham wash up. and quickily left the shopping centre. later that night, my roommate, evangeline, and i didn't sleep. we went to ain's and ham's room to wait for sahur. went to the hotel's kopitiam and got back to our respective hotel rooms at 3 in the morning. ahaha.

DAY 3
went to putrajaya. and the buildings there were a beaut. everything seemed grand. the mosque was dark pink. something i've never seen before. but the shopping centre there is boring. nothing much. after that we went to the chocolate factory. ham and i didn't go cause we wanted to sleep. after a few minutes at the factory, we went to petaling street. all that hype about shopping at petaling street was dampened by the rain. i can honestly say that there's nothing there except the usual fake LV bags, swatch watches and NIKE shoes. i wanted to get ESCADA's Rockin' Rio perfume. but i thought it was better if i bought the original. one word of advice. DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE VENDORS WHEN THEY CALL FOR YOU. NO MATTER WHAT. WHEN THEY CALL FOR YOU AND YOU'RE NOT BUYING, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THEM. YOU'LL JUST BE CURSED AT BEHIND YOUR BACK. LITERALLY. AND ALSO. DO NOT NEGOTIATE THE PRICES IF YOU'RE NOT BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM. after that had a group dinner at some restaurant. the 3 of us was very cautious of what we were eating. cause it was a chinese restaurant. and even though it said halal, at the entrance of the restaurant, we were still cautious.

DAY 4
went to melaka. since there were no plans for the day. it was the first time i felt like i was spending money during my stay in malaysia. shopped till we dropped. we reached singapore at around 6pm. we went to buka at pizza hut at JP. hah.

there were stuff that i wanted that i didn't buy.
1) the ADIDAS bag i saw at berjaya times square. it was dark brown with gold trimmings and for RM40. and it was in a good size. something that i like to carry around.
2) a pair of LEVI'S corduroy pants for RM140. i think it's cheap. for LEVI'S especially.
3) SECRET RECIPE cakes. my aim to pig out on oreo cheesecake and tiramisu was not reached.
4) STARBUCKS coffee. i wanted so much to splurge on a cup of caramel frappucino. a cup of caramel frap would be RM10+ there.
5) McDONALDS milkshake. something singapore's McD doesn't have.

maybe for my next trip to KL, i would get the stuff. hee. this has been a LONG entry. and i think i shall stop here. thank you for taking your time to read this through.
